Parish Outreach
This June, St. Bernadette will
be conducting pastoral home visits to a number of homes in our parish.
This mission, called Bring The Message Home, is important to
extend pastoral care to our own parishioners.
It’s a new take on the old
parish priest home visit. We will update the parish record, ask
a pastoral care question, and leave a folder of materials. Information
will be relayed to our priests and pastoral staff for response.
Parishioners working in teams
of two will be representing our Church as delegates to the homes.
Visits will be on weekends and evenings as convenient throughout the
month.
TRAINING
NIGHT FOR HOME VISITORS:
(Attend one
(1) session of your choice)
Wed. May
19 – or - Thurs. May 20
at 7:00 PM
in the upper room at the parish office
Our message is “we care about
you” and the Gospel message of hope and mercy in Jesus Christ, who
wants us to know Him better so we can love Him more.
