Come and join the Fun! Everyone is welcome! The St. Bernadette Thursday Night Bingo has been a significant fund raising activity for nearly thirty years. The parish and school have benefited from the profits of this charitable event. Bingo is held in Dempsey Hall every Thursday from 6:00PM until 11:00PM with few exceptions. The evening is completely staffed by volunteers. At the present time, a small number of parents of the alumni of the school and the parents of the school children have sustained the necessary roles to keep the evening entertaining and successful. We welcome anyone who would like to volunteer with this worthwhile fundraising activity. In addition to the weekly volunteers needed there are particular jobs that require a limited time commitment. These jobs include a few volunteers to cover the first hour of the evening by selling bingo packages at the front door, a part-time caller for each evening and a volunteer coordinator. If you would like more information or are interested in volunteering, please contact the Parish Office at 734-1300. Everyone is welcome! If you are not interested in the volunteer positions, just come up and play! In addition to the bingo games there are door prizes and theme nights! It is fun for all! |
