St. Bernadette Parish

The primary goal of the Parish School of Religion programs is to provide support to families in passing on the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic faith to their children.   

Sunday School - The Sunday School Program acts as a connecting link between the child’s home and formal religious education. Activities include many facets of learning including prayer, singing, story telling, games and celebrations. 

Elementary/Intermediate - Our goal is to help the students to develop a strong relationship with God, in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. We involve the head with facts and truths, the heart with trust and love, and the hands and feet with actions of care and service. 

Middle School - The middle school integrates the gospel message and the values of Jesus on all levels of student’s personal life. Skills required for engaging in healthful relationships with others are refined. A positive sense of identity as unique persons created by a loving God is encouraged. Students are guided to a fuller and richer sense of what it means to be a participating and contributing members of the Catholic Christian Community.  

We are always looking for energetic people to assist in the PSR program, aides, teachers and people to work form home. We need volunteers from Junior High to Senior Citizens, so long as they love their faith, God and children.
